D C Chakraborty, born on 12 August 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch of the West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, and ultimately as Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department. His tenure as Secretary lasted from 6 May 2010 to 31 August 2010. Throughout his career, Chakraborty held multiple key administrative roles, contributing to the governance and administration within his cadre and department.
