D A Satya, born on 13 December 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2000 batch from the Gujarat cadre. He holds an LL.B. from Saurastra University Law College, Jamnagar, and a postgraduate diploma in Social Security from the Institute of Social Studies. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Additional Development Commissioner at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 2 July 2014 to 31 December 2015.
