Chittaranjan Das, born on 26 December 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch of the West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Electoral District Officer, Joint Secretary, and Excise Commissioner. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Excise Department, held from 28 June 2010 to 31 December 2010. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration of West Bengal until his retirement.
