Chittadip Bandyopadhyay, born on 25 October 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Philosophy. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary in the Home Department. His most recent position was Special Secretary from 1 March 2002 to 31 October 2005.
