Chitranjan Prasad, born on January 18, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 batch, Bihar cadre. During his career, he served as Deputy Development Commissioner from July 25, 2006, to December 20, 2006. He was associated with the Land Revenue Department as the Director of Census Operations. His tenure in the IAS reflects his service in administrative roles within the Bihar cadre.
