Chitra Vijayan, born on July 3, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2019 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds an M.B.A. in Port Planning and Management from the University of Madras, Chennai. Currently, she serves as the Commissioner at Tamil Nadu, Corporation of Madurai, a position she has held since February 11, 2025. Her previous roles include Joint Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Chitra Vijayan continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Tamil Nadu.
