Chinmay P. Gotmare, born on June 12, 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Nagpur University. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi, a position he assumed on January 1, 2026. His previous roles include Joint Secretary and Director. Fluent in English and Marathi, Mr. Gotmare continues to contribute to the civil services in his ongoing tenure.
