Chhabilendra Roul, born on January 1, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Punjab cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration (UK), a postgraduate degree in Economics, and a B.A. Honours in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers from December 31, 2018, to December 31, 2020. His past roles encompass positions such as Officer on Special Duty, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Director General, Joint Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. He was honored with the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
