Charusheela Sohoni, born on November 7, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1971 batch, Maharashtra cadre. She holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in English. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Secretary, Chairperson, Principal Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Special Commissioner, Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, CEO, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Officer. Her most recent position was Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Maharashtra. Ms. Sohoni’s extensive experience reflects a distinguished tenure in public administration within the state government.
