She is currently serving as the Sub Divisional Officer and Sub Divisional at Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Rajasthan, a position she has held since 20 July 2025. Her previous roles include District Collector and District Magistrate, as well as Sub Divisional Magistrate and Chief Executive Officer. Charu is proficient in Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
