Chandraker Bharti, born on 30 October 1967, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and an M.Sc. in Public Policy & Management from the London School of Economics. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Home Department of Jammu & Kashmir since 26 February 2024. His extensive career includes roles such as Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Government, Development Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, and Additional Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
