Chandraker Bharti, born on 30 October 1967, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and an M.Sc. in Public Policy & Management from the London School of Economics. Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Home Department of Jammu & Kashmir since 26 February 2024, he has held multiple key positions including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Government, Development Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, and Additional Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
