Chandrakala J U, born on June 7, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad and an M.Sc. in Plant Physiology from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Currently, she serves as Director and Mission Director at Chennai under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) since July 10, 2023. Her previous roles include Sub Collector and Assistant Secretary. She is proficient in English, Kannada, and Tamil. Chandrakala J U continues to serve in the IAS.
