Chandra Sekhar Kumar, born on 10/01/1969, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay, an M.P.A. in International Development from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, New York. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Rainfed Area Authority, New Delhi, since 01/04/2026. His extensive career includes roles such as Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner & Secretary, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, among others. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
