Chandra Prakash Singh, an IAS officer of the 2012 batch from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, was born on August 7, 1970. He is currently serving as the District Magistrate and Collector of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, he held the position of Municipal Commissioner at Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam. Under his leadership, Ghaziabad received multiple awards, including the Three Star Garbage Free City Award and the Swachh City Award in Swachh Survekshan 2019, as well as India's Fastest Mover City Award in Swachh Survekshan 2018. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
