Chandra Kishore Mishra, born on 16 May 1960, is a retired IAS officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History and a PG Diploma in Law from the University of Hyderabad. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Resident Commissioner, and District Collector and Magistrate. His most recent position was Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 13 October 2017 to 31 May 2020. Mishra’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles across government departments.
