Chandra Iyengar, born on November 10, 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1973 Maharashtra cadre. She holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Special Commissioner, Resident Commissioner, Director (Finance), Deputy Secretary, CEO, Under Secretary, Joint Managing Director, Additional Collector, and Assistant Collector. Her most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Home Department of Maharashtra. Ms. Iyengar’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the state government.
