Chandra Bhushan Paliwal, born on November 21, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in technology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, Joint Secretary, Transport Commissioner, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Project Coordinator Director, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Regional Controller, and Vice Chairman. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Urban Development Department from December 2, 2013, to November 30, 2014.
