Chandesh Kumar Yadav, born on August 11, 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2006 batch from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Allahabad University. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Uttarakhand, a position he has held since October 12, 2025. His previous roles include Joint Magistrate, MD and CEO, Chief Development Officer, Collector and District Magistrate, Project Director, Additional Secretary, and Secretary in various capacities. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
