Chandan Sinha, born on March 16, 1963, is a retired IAS officer from the 1989 West Bengal cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration and a graduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Principal Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Project Director, Special Secretary, Senior Adviser, Collector and District Magistrate, Deputy Director, Additional Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Director General in the Culture Department, New Delhi, from September 23, 2021, to March 31, 2023.
