Chanchal Rana, born on 23 November 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2014 batch, Odisha cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from a deemed university. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, Odisha, a position he has held since 22 July 2025. His previous roles include Collector & District Magistrate, Officer on Special Duty, Sub Collector, and Assistant Secretary. Proficient in Bengali, English, and Odia, Chanchal Rana continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
