Chanchal Rana, born on November 23, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, Odisha cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from a deemed university. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, Odisha, a position he has held since July 22, 2025. Previously, he has held the role of Collector and District Magistrate. Proficient in Bengali, English, and Odia, Chanchal Rana continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
