Chanchal Kumar Tewari, born on March 1, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Botany and a graduate degree in Zoology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Vice Chairman, Managing Director, Special Secretary, District Collector, General Manager, Chief Development Officer, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Chairman of the Civil Supplies Department, a role he held from June 1, 2002, to February 28, 2019.
