Chaitra V., born on 26 June 1981, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a B.Com. degree and is currently serving as the Director General in the Ayush Department, Uttar Pradesh, since 16 September 2025. Her previous roles include Assistant Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Additional Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Executive Director, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. She has received awards in 10M Air Pistol shooting competitions for civil services women. She is proficient in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
