She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Madras, Chennai. Catherine has previously served as a Sub Collector. Since 6 July 2025, she has been the Managing Director at Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
