Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh, born on April 5, 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. She holds a Graduate degree in Political Science, an M.A. and an M.Phil. in West European Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi, since December 31, 2025. Her extensive career includes roles such as Managing Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Additional Collector, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional Excise Commissioner.
