C V Sankar, born on July 2, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Com., a P.G. degree in Commerce, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Over his distinguished career, he served in multiple capacities including Principal Secretary, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner, Director, District Collector, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Sugar Corporation, commencing on February 28, 2014. Sankar's extensive administrative experience spans various departments and leadership roles within the Tamil Nadu government.
