C R Samtani, born on June 11, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce and a graduate degree in Commerce. During his career, he served in various capacities including District Development Officer, Additional Collector, and Director. His most recent designation was Deputy Secretary at Gujarat from October 1, 1987, to June 1, 1991. He was associated with the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation.
