C R Samajpati, born on January 1, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1962 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director at Gujarat from September 1992 to December 1995, Additional Chief Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, District Collector, and Assistant Collector. His service was primarily associated with the Department of Water Resources. Mr. Samajpati’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Gujarat government.
