C R Prasanna, born on June 4, 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, serving in the Chhattisgarh cadre. He holds a B.V.Sc. & A.H. and an M.V.Sc. in Dairy Science. Currently, he is the Secretary of the Cooperation Department in Chhattisgarh, a position he has held since March 2, 2026. Prasanna is proficient in English and Tamil. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities within the state administration and continues to contribute as an active IAS officer.
