C Lalsawta, born on 30 September 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University and a graduate degree in Political Science from North-Eastern Hill University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Divisional Commissioner, Cane Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate, Tribal Welfare Commissioner, Managing Director, District Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, and SDO/SDM. His most recent position was Principal Secretary at Patna, Bihar, in the Personnel and Vigilance Department from 1 July 2014 to 30 September 2015.
