C B Giridhar, born on 21 May 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1962 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Statistics. Throughout his career, Giridhar served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Executive Director. His most recent position was Managing Director at Gujarat’s Department of Commerce and Industry from 1 April 1993 to 30 May 1996. Giridhar’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Gujarat cadre.
