Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, Joint Collector, Managing Director, Secretary to Speaker, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Transport Department, commencing on 2 July 2013. He also held the position of District Collector and Magistrate during his tenure.
