Brijesh Mehrotra, born on 28 August 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Geology. Throughout his career in the Government of Bihar, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, Managing Director, Secretary, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Governor. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government at Patna, Bihar, from 4 March 2024 to 31 August 2024.
