Brajendra Navnit, born on 21 October 1974, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Director, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and OSD. Currently, he is the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India at Geneva, a position he has held since 1 January 1990. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
