Biswajit Dutta, born on November 4, 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2007 batch, belonging to the West Bengal cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development since September 6, 2021, Dutta has previously held positions including Secretary and Commissioner. He continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of West Bengal.
