Bishnu Charan Khatua, born on 30 July 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1976 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English and postgraduate qualifications in Financial Management and Social Sciences. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairman, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Textile Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Registrar General, Iron & Steel Controller, Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, CEO, Additional Collector, Assistant Collector, and SDO. His most recent designation was Chairman at Maharashtra in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
