Birendra Prasad Yadav, born on 23 February 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2004 Bihar cadre. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Open University, a B.V.Sc., and an M.V.Sc. in Livestock Production. Currently, he serves as Special Secretary in the Agriculture Department of Bihar since 31 August 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Assistant Collector, Additional District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Additional Secretary, Project Director, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Special Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi and remains in active service.
