Dr. Bipin Bihari Mallick, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Maharashtra cadre, was born on February 20, 1960. He holds postgraduate degrees in Political Science and a PG Diploma in Defence Studies from the University of Madras and National Defence College. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Commissioner, Director, Vice Chairperson, Managing Director, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Department of Tourism and Culture, Maharashtra. Dr. Mallick is now retired from service.
