Bimbadhar Pradhan, born on 25 March 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Bihar cadre. He holds a Graduate degree and a Postgraduate degree in Economics, along with an M.Phil. in Defence and Strategic Studies. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary at the National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi (12 October 2020 to 31 March 2022), Special Secretary and Financial Adviser, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Divisional Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, among others.
