Bijay Kumar, born on August 12, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech. in Foundation Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Collector, Managing Director, Commissioner, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was Principal Secretary to the Government in the Finance Department of Maharashtra. Bijay Kumar's extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the state government until his retirement.
