Joint Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department
Bijan Kumar Saha, born on 14 October 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree and served in various capacities throughout his career. His past positions include Additional District Magistrate and multiple tenures as Joint Secretary. Most recently, he was Joint Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 8 January 2003 to 31 October 2004. Mr. Saha's career reflects his long-standing service in the Indian Administrative Service until his retirement.
