Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, born on September 11, 1964, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary at New Delhi in the Department of New and Renewable Energy since November 1, 2022. Mr. Bhalla holds a Graduate degree in Commerce, is an ICWAI member, and has completed a PG Diploma in Management from the University of Georgia and IIM Bangalore. His previous roles include OSD, Additional Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, Chairman, Commissioner & Secretary, Counsellor, and Chief Electoral Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
