Bhupendra Singh Poonia, born on 15 August 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 batch, Odisha cadre. He holds a B.A. from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and an M.A. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Odisha, a position he has held since 22 July 2025. His previous roles include Managing Director, Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Sub Collector, Special Secretary to Government, Chairman, and State Project Director. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
