Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Additional Secretary, Director & CEO, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Planning Department from 7 January 2019 to 26 July 2019. He has been recognized with awards such as the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), Disaster Management, and honors related to the IIIrd National Winter Games 2003 and the 5th Winter Asian Games Aomori 2003.
