Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, born on 21 January 1972, is a 1999 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Odisha cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.Tech. degree. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary at the Excise Department, Odisha since 22 July 2025, Sharma has previously held the position of Commissioner. He is proficient in Assamese, English, and Hindi. Sharma continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Odisha.
