Bhagwati Prasad Pandey, born on March 6, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Botany and a graduate degree in Zoology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Financial Advisor, Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Managing Director, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, District Collector, Chief Development Officer, Chief General Manager, Project Manager, Executive Magistrate, and Joint Managing Director. His most recent position was Special Secretary Equivalent in the Power Department from July 29, 2016, to March 31, 2017.
