Bhagwant Singh, born on November 15, 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Additional Director, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Chief Administrator, and Director. His most recent position was Additional Commissioner at Jalandhar, Punjab, from May 21, 2009, to November 30, 2010. During his career, he was associated with the Appeals, Revenue, and Forest Department.
