Dr. Bhagwan Sahai, born on January 2, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy, along with M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) degrees in Agronomy. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Development Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Additional Development Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate, CEO, and SDO. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra. Dr. Sahai's extensive experience spans multiple administrative and developmental roles within the state government.
