Dr. Beela Rajesh, an IAS officer of the 1997 Tamil Nadu cadre, was born on 15 November 1969. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in Hindi and Tamil. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Director, and Managing Director. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary at Chennai in the Energy Department, a role she assumed on 19 June 2023. Dr. Rajesh continues to contribute to the Indian Administrative Service with a diverse portfolio of administrative responsibilities.
