Basharat Qayoom, born on October 1, 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, assigned to the Jharkhand cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree in Medicine from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, a position he has held since July 24, 2023. Mr. Qayoom continues to be in active service within the Indian Administrative Service.
