Land Reforms Commissioner, Revenue and Land Reforms Department
Balbir Ram, born on 15 February 1950, is a retired IAS officer of the 1983 batch from the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Director, Chairman, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Land Reforms Commissioner in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department from 6 July 2009 to 28 February 2010.
